*Mia volunteers their time and passion to lead The Compass Collective, with the hopes of making outdoor adventure more accessible for trans people.*
As a life-long adventurer, from childhood canoe trips to planning their own trek down Te Araroa, or what is also referred to as New Zealand, they love challenging themself and trying new things. Mia manages an indoor cycling studio and part time at a financial data start-up.
Being a part of The Compass Collective is an honor and passion of theirs to support and encourage other trans people to witness the earth and all it offers, and how humans can provide this same love to the land and one another.

**Nouh Lahoud, TCC Advisor** (they/them)
**GEA Alliance Board Member**
Nouh has been an adventurer and nature lover since they can remember. While they work in corporate sales by day, serving as a board member for the GEA Alliance is a passion that allows Nouh to connect in a bigger way to their outdoor pursuits and support the creation of opportunities for all marginalized genders to experience the awe of nature.

Sunny volunteers as the Executive Director for the Alliance for Gender Equity in Outdoor Adventure (GEA Alliance) and cares about making the outdoors more accessible and equitable for all marginalized genders.

The Compass Collective is an initiative within the GEA Alliance
(Alliance for Gender Equity in Outdoor Adventure)

The GEA Alliance’s mission is to connect women, girls, and trans adventurers with transformative adventure opportunities, advancing gender equity on and off the mountain. As of 2024, the GEA Alliance encompasses three distinct initiatives: The Summit Scholarship, The Cairn Project, and The Compass Collective.
